Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Article 1: Offer

The company Rayandiscovery.com has for object the transport of people with payment, for that it makes available to the users, via its site Rayandiscovery.com , a software of reservation of chauffeur-driven vehicles for individuals and professionals.

Article 2: Reservation

All reservations must be made by the Customer or a duly authorized representative. For any reservation, the customer must provide the following information:

Customer Information:
Surname, first name, phone number, email, and residence address.

Journey information:
Date and time of pick-up, place of departure and arrival, number of passengers, need for booster seats, number of pieces of luggage, as well as the flight or train number if applicable.

Article 3: Cancellation and modification

The client can request the cancellation of the service until 24 hours before the date and time of taking over and obtain the refund of the sums paid.

The provider can cancel the transport of the customer in case of force majeure, in this case the customer will be able to benefit from a compensation. It may also cancel the transport if the customer does not show up at the agreed place, beyond a time limit of 15 minutes. In the latter case, the customer will be billed for his breach.

Any modification of the journey by the client during the service and leading to program changes may result in surcharges to be paid locally or at the end of the service.

Article 4: Making available

Any provision of provision must be subject to a written reservation. It must be done by the client or a duly authorized representative. Any reservation necessarily mentions the place of performance of the service, the number of passengers and the name and the details of the beneficiary of the service if it is different from those of the customer.

Any cancellation made available must be reported 48 hours before the start of the service. Failing this, and for any reason whatsoever, it will be due, as a fixed and lump sum penalty, non-deductible equal to the amount originally set at the time of booking.

The service is valid only once, and if it turns out that the customer was not present on the meeting place, the benefit would be permanently lost and will not give any right to refund. Any expectation, beyond a deductible of one hour, will be invoiced on the hour base mentioned in our tariffs of the category of the reserved vehicle.

Article 5: Tariffs

The rates communicated by our booking module are given as an indication and may vary depending on the period or the desired time, to obtain a confirmation of rates the customer must make a quote request online via the contact form CONTACT WE.

The transfer rate applies to non-stop direct travel from the point of pick-up to the point of arrival, the service ending immediately thereafter. The amount of luggage carried is proportional to the capacity of the vehicle.

The prices indicated include the vehicle, the chauffeur service, the insurance for the persons transported, the fuel, the kilometers and the time determined during the reservation and / or during the conclusion of the contract as well as the transport of the luggage of the customer in the limit of the possibility of the vehicle. The cost of tolls, parking, places of parking or entry in some places that are chosen by the customer and / or made indispensable for the performance of the service not originally planned in the journey remain the responsibility of the customer.
The price given is a price per vehicle, regardless of the number of people (from 1 to 4 people for the range BERLINE for example)

Article 6: Regulation

For occasional customers, our services are payable on booking (online payment via Stripe) or on board the vehicle by credit card (payment by TPE via SumUp) or by cash.

For account customers, invoices are payable upon receipt by bank transfer.

In all cases, the customer, the signatory of the reservation, is solely responsible for the payment of the service

Article 7: Limitation of liability

Rayandiscovery.com undertakes to take the necessary steps to take the passenger to their destination as soon as possible and under optimum safety conditions in accordance with the Highway Code and the laws in force.

Rayandiscovery.com can in no way be held responsible for delays in transport times due to circumstances beyond its control: blocked road, bridge prohibited to traffic, bypass, flooded road, traffic jams, interventions on the roadway of police forces, customs or firefighters, etc … (without this list being restrictive).

Rayandiscovery.com can in no way be held responsible for delays due to force majeure: strikes, weather, attacks, riots, etc … (without this list being exhaustive).

Rayandiscovery.com can in no way be held responsible for delays resulting from an initial delay of a customer, or the need to make a trip, at the request of the customer, in a period obviously too short.

In case of immobilisation of the vehicle during the journey due to mechanical failure, accident or damage (theft, degradation), Rayandiscovery.com will endeavor to ensure the continuity of the journey, either with one of these vehicles, or with a vehicle chartered to another company and undertakes to warn the client. The luggage or any other property of the customer remains the responsibility of the person transported.

The driver is obliged to comply with the various regulations applicable to the circulation of vehicles and ensure, as part of the performance of the service, to take the necessary measures to preserve the safety of the occupants of the vehicle and the correct conservation of the latter.

Thus, the driver expressly reserves the right to refuse any instructions and / or requests from the customer that he considered likely to compromise the safety of the occupants of the vehicle and / or the proper storage of it.
The number of authorized passengers (including the driver) is that indicated in the technical characteristics of the Vehicle. It can never be exceeded.

Damage of any kind caused to the vehicle and / or other vehicles (for example, during the unintentional opening of the doors) will be the responsibility of the customer unless it is shown that they come from a third party . The occupants of the vehicle, the attendants, service providers and guests of the customer may not be considered as third parties.

Rayandiscovery.com reserves the right to interrupt the service in progress if the driver realizes that the customer is committing an offense, for example the use of narcotics, or if the behavior of the customers endangered the safety of the driver, or good if the customers were insulting to the driver.

The transport of animals is prohibited except in the case of animals (dogs) accompanying persons visually impaired.

In the event that Rayandiscovery.com is unable to provide the vehicle provided for in the contract, the deposit will be refunded, unless both parties agree on the availability of another vehicle.

Rayandiscovery.com reserves the right not to perform the service in case of occurrence of a force majeure, a fortuitous event, because of a third party or any event that may pose a risk to the customer, his guests, his attendants, the driver or the vehicle. In this context, the total or partial non-performance of the service can not give rise to any compensation from the customer.

Rayandiscovery.com is under no obligation to keep luggage, or any other objects, goods, clothes, effects, etc. left in the vehicle during and after the performance.

Article 8: Insurance

Rayandiscovery.com’s liability is limited to the terms of its insurance contracts.

Our vehicles are insured for the transport of persons and our travelers for all the bodily injuries and also for the civil liability with our insurer MAAF.

The client will be able to take out additional insurance at his expense for cancellation fees, repatriation costs or coverage of baggage carried without this list being exhaustive.

Article 9: Police and security rules

The vehicle and the driver will be provided with the necessary documents for the smooth running of the transport service.
In accordance with the law in force in all public places, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in our vehicles.

In accordance with the provisions of the code of the bar of drinks, it is forbidden to consume alcoholic beverages on board our vehicles.

Seat belt use is mandatory for all passengers in vehicles equipped with this equipment.

Article 10: Collection of personal data

Rayandiscovery.com is committed to respecting the privacy of its customers.
The personal information and other data communicated will be used for no other purpose than the improvement of the service provided and will in no case be transmitted to third parties.
